Unique Birth
Maryam 19:16-22 |
She said: How can I have a son when no mortal hath touched
me, neither have I been unchaste?
He said: So (it will be). Thy Lord saith: It is easy for Me. And (it will be)
that We may make of him a revelation for mankind and a mercy from Us, and it is
a thing ordained.
And she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place. (vs. 20-22)

قَالَتْ أَنَّى يَكُونُ
لِي غُلَامٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ وَلَمْ أَكُ بَغِيًّا
قَالَ كَذَلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٌ وَلِنَجْعَلَهُ آيَةً لِلنَّاسِ
وَرَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَكَانَ أَمْرًا مَّقْضِيًّا
فَحَمَلَتْهُ فَانتَبَذَتْ بِهِ مَكَانًا قَصِيًّا

Maryam 19:33 |
Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the
day I shall be raised alive! |
وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيَّ
يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّا |
Blessed one
Maryam 19:31 |
And hath made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and hath
enjoined upon me prayer and almsgiving so long as I remain alive, |
وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا
أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوْصَانِي بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا |

al-'Imran 3:49 |
And will make him a messenger unto the Children of Israel,
(saying): Lo! I come unto you with a sign from your Lord. Lo! I fashion for you
out of clay the likeness of a bird, and I breathe into it and it is a bird, by
Allah's leave. I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I raise the
dead, by Allah's leave. And I announce unto you what ye eat and what ye store up
in your houses. Lo! herein verily is a portent for you, if ye are to be
believers. |
وَرَسُولاً إِلَى بَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنِّي قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ أَنِّي أَخْلُقُ لَكُم
مِّنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ فَأَنفُخُ فِيهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِ
اللّهِ وَأُبْرِىءُ الأكْمَهَ والأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْيِـي الْمَوْتَى بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ
وَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ إِنَّ فِي
ذَلِكَ لآيَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ |
Has Holy Spirit
al-Baqara 2:87,253 |
And verily We gave unto Moses the Scripture and We caused a
train of messengers to follow after him, and We gave unto Jesus, son of Mary,
clear proofs (of Allah's sovereignty), and We supported him with the Holy
spirit. Is it ever so, that, when there cometh unto you a messenger (from Allah)
with that which ye yourselves desire not, ye grow arrogant, and some ye
disbelieve and some ye slay?
Of those messengers, some of whom We have caused to excel others, and of whom
there are some unto whom Allah spake, while some of them He exalted (above
others) in degree; and We gave Jesus, son of Mary, clear proofs (of Allah's
Sovereignty) and We supported him with the holy Spirit. And if Allah had so
wiled it, those who followed after them would not have fought one with another
after the clear proofs had come unto them. But they differed, some of them
believing and some disbelieving. And if Allah had so willed it, they would not
have fought one with another; but Allah doeth what He will. |
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى
الْكِتَابَ وَقَفَّيْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ بِالرُّسُلِ وَآتَيْنَا عِيسَى ابْنَ
مَرْيَمَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَأَيَّدْنَاهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ أَفَكُلَّمَا جَاءكُمْ
رَسُولٌ بِمَا لاَ تَهْوَى أَنفُسُكُمُ اسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ فَفَرِيقاً كَذَّبْتُمْ
وَفَرِيقاً تَقْتُلُونَ
تِلْكَ الرُّسُلُ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ مِّنْهُم مَّن كَلَّمَ اللّهُ
وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَهُمْ دَرَجَاتٍ وَآتَيْنَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ
وَأَيَّدْنَاهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ وَلَوْ شَاء اللّهُ مَا اقْتَتَلَ الَّذِينَ مِن
بَعْدِهِم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ وَلَـكِنِ اخْتَلَفُواْ
فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ آمَنَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن كَفَرَ وَلَوْ شَاء اللّهُ مَا ا�������������������ْتَتَلُواْ
وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ |

When Allah saith: O Jesus, son of Mary! Remember My favour unto thee and unto
thy mother; how I strengthened thee with the holy Spirit, so that thou spakest
unto mankind in the cradle as in maturity; and how I taught thee the Scripture
and Wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and how thou didst shape of clay as it
were the likeness of a bird by My permission, and didst blow upon it and it was
a bird by My permission, and thou didst heal him who was born blind and the
leper by My permission; and how thou didst raise the dead by My permission; and
how I restrained the Children of Israel from (harming) thee when thou camest
unto them with clear proofs, and those of them who disbelieved exclaimed: This
is naught else than mere magic; |
وَرَسُولاً إِلَى بَنِي
إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنِّي قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ أَنِّي أَخْلُقُ لَكُم
مِّنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ فَأَنفُخُ فِيهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِ
اللّهِ وَأُبْرِىءُ الأكْمَهَ والأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْيِـي الْمَوْتَى بِإِذْنِ اللّهِ
وَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ إِنَّ فِي
ذَلِكَ لآيَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
إِذْ قَالَ اللّهُ يَا عِيسى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ اذْكُرْ نِعْمَتِي عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى
وَالِدَتِكَ إِذْ أَيَّدتُّكَ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ تُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ
وَكَهْلاً وَإِذْ عَلَّمْتُكَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَالتَّوْرَاةَ
وَالإِنجِيلَ وَإِذْ تَخْلُقُ مِنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ بِإِذْنِي
فَتَنفُخُ فِيهَا فَتَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِي وَتُبْرِىءُ الأَكْمَهَ وَالأَبْرَصَ
بِإِذْنِي وَإِذْ تُخْرِجُ الْمَوتَى بِإِذْنِي وَإِذْ كَفَفْتُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ
عَنكَ إِذْ جِئْتَهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَقَالَ ا لَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْهُمْ إِنْ
هَـذَا إِلاَّ سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ |
Provider
5:112-115 |
When the disciples said: O Jesus, son of Mary! Is thy Lord
able to send down for us a table spread with food from heaven? He said: Observe
your duty to Allah, if ye are true believers.
(They said:) We wish to eat thereof, that we may satisfy our hearts and know
that thou hast spoken truth to us, and that thereof we may be witnesses.
Jesus, son of Mary, said: O Allah, Lord of us! Send down for us a table spread
with food from heaven, that it may be a feast for us, for the first of us and
for the last of us, and a sign from Thee. Give us sustenance, for Thou art the
Best of Sustainers.
Allah said: Lo! I send it down for you. And whoso disbelieveth of you afterward,
him surely will I punish with a punishment wherewith I have not punished any of
(My) creatures. |
إِذْ قَالَ
الْحَوَارِيُّونَ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ هَلْ يَسْتَطِيعُ رَبُّكَ أَن
يُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَاء قَالَ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِن كُنتُم
مُّؤْمِنِينَ
قَالُواْ نُرِيدُ أَن نَّأْكُلَ مِنْهَا وَتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُنَا وَنَعْلَمَ أَن
قَدْ صَدَقْتَنَا وَنَكُونَ عَلَيْهَا مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةً
مِّنَ السَّمَاء تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيداً لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَآخِرِنَا وَآيَةً مِّنكَ
وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
قَالَ اللّهُ إِنِّي مُنَزِّلُهَا عَلَيْكُمْ فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بَعْدُ مِنكُمْ
فَإِنِّي أُعَذِّبُهُ عَذَابًا لاَّ أُعَذِّبُهُ أَحَدًا مِّنَ الْعَالَمِينَ |
Giver of Love & Mercy
al-Hadid 57: 27 |
Then We caused Our messengers to follow in their footsteps;
and We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow, and gave him the Gospel, and placed
compassion and mercy in the hearts of those who followed him. But monasticism
they invented - We ordained it not for them - only seeking Allah's pleasure, and
they observed it not with right observance. So We give those of them who believe
their reward, but many of them are evil-livers. |
ثُمَّ قَفَّيْنَا عَلَى
آثَارِهِم بِرُسُلِنَا وَقَفَّيْنَا بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَآتَيْنَاهُ
الْإِنجِيلَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ رَأْفَةً وَرَحْمَةً
وَرَهْبَانِيَّةً ابْتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبْنَاهَا عَلَيْهِمْ إِلَّا ابْتِغَاء
رِضْوَانِ اللَّهِ فَمَا رَعَوْهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَا فَآتَيْنَا الَّذِينَ
آمَنُوا مِنْهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ |

Maryam 19:19 |
He said: I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow
on thee a faultless son. |
قَالَ إِنَّمَا أَنَا
رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَامًا زَكِيًّا |
Commands Our
Obedience
al-'Imran 3:50 |
And (I come) confirming that which was before me of the
Torah, and to make lawful some of that which was forbidden unto you. I come unto
you with a sign from your Lord, so keep your duty to Allah and obey me. |
وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا
بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُم بَعْضَ الَّذِي حُرِّمَ
عَلَيْكُمْ وَجِئْتُكُم بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ |
The Holy Bible is God’s unchanged scripture. The Muslim Holy Qur’an verifies
this and commands all Muslims to believe in it.
