Every male and female who has come to an age of understanding will
be swept into the everlasting destruction of hell if they continue in their
sins. Should they die apart from the Savior, it will be as if they are hit
with a giant wave of destruction that sweeps them away in irresistible
power, that once it gets them into its clutches it never lets them go, that
obliterates everything good and replaces it with darkness, pain, death, and
sorrow.
Ah be warned! The wicked and all nations that forget God shall
be turned into hell.
If you do not like the notion of a hell that sweeps the wicked
away and never lets them go, your not liking it will not change
the reality of it one iota. You are not meant to like it. Hell
is a horrible place. God made it that way. God has portrayed
it that way. He has done this on purpose so that the most hardened
of sinners, when they hear of the horrors of hell, might have
a strong incentive to cause them to bow the knee to the Savior.
The only way to escape eternal punishment is to trust in the
Lord Jesus Christ. So that souls wouldnt have to perish God
sent his Son into the world. The Lord Jesus suffered death on
the cross so that hell deserving sinners could escape the punishment
they deserve. Now all who put their hearts confidence in him
will be saved. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
Those who hear the warning of the impending judgment of hell
on their sins can flee to the Savior. They can do it alone in
the confines of a room; they can do it on a busy street. They
can do it in a prayer out loud, or they can do it soundlessly
in the depths of their heart, but if they are ever going to
escape hell it must be done. To Jesus Christ and him alone they
must go. And once they believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior,
they should confess him before men. That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with
the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Wont you hear the warnings of impending judgment and come
to the Savior? He that cometh unto me, the Lord Jesus said,
I will in nowise cast out. He alone is the sinners only safe
place of refuge.
